Gallagher expands global & corporate capabilities with hire of international mining specialist
Arthur J. Gallagher has further strengthened its global mining and property capabilities with the appointment of international mining specialist Stuart Hill as a director, effective immediately. Hill will be based in London and report to Neil Stewart, managing director of global & corporate, which provides comprehensive cross-class risk and insurance support to corporate businesses on a global basis.
Bringing extensive knowledge of the mining sector’s challenges and risk management and transfer requirements, alongside broader international property experience, Hill will focus on business development, client servicing, account management and placement to further enhance Gallagher’s cross-class, cradle-to-grave offering for international clients.
Hill was previously a partner in JLT Specialty’s mining practice having joined the firm in 2010, with territorial client experience stretching from South Africa and Africa to Latin America and Australia.
