Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK) launches Intellectual Property insurance in France, Belgium and Luxembourg
TMK, the leading international underwriting business, today announced the launch of a specialist Intellectual Property (IP) insurance product in France, Belgium and Luxembourg.
TMK already provides IP insurance to clients in the UK, US and several continental European markets through its London and Frankfurt offices. TMK’s decision to expand its offering into these new markets is a response to the growing demand for IP cover from businesses in those locations. IP cover is available through its Enterprise Risk department based in Paris, led by Marie L’Affeter, the Enterprise Risk Manager based there.
The Company backed A+ rated offering is believed to be the only standalone IP insurance product available to the French market and covers a broad range of exposures that are frequently excluded from existing policies, such as patent infringement and trade secrets.
TMK’s intellectual property policy includes coverage for infringement of:
- Patents
- Trade Marks
- Trade secrets
- Copyright
- Registered designs
- Domain names
With a limit of Euro 25m
The new product is being launched through a series of TMK IP Masterclasses that will take place in Europe. Attendance is open to brokers and clients in France, Monaco, Luxembourg and Belgium.
