LMA Finance Committee appoints Mark Allan as chairman
The Lloyd’s Market Association’s Finance Committee (FinComm), which leads on financial issues and requirements affecting Lloyd’s managing agents and syndicates, has appointed Mark Allan as chairman.
Mr Allan, Brit’s Chief Financial Officer, succeeds John Dunn (Liberty) in the role. Hermien Smeets-Flier, Aegis London’s Chief Financial Officer, has been appointed deputy chair, replacing Martin Bride from Beazley.
The Finance Committee monitors key financial topics and their likely impact, as well as liaising with Lloyd’s senior management on issues affecting the market that require practitioner input.
Mark Allan said: “I am delighted to accept the role of chairman of the Finance Committee, whose work across multiple issues affecting the market is invaluable to LMA members. I look forward to leading the important work of the Committee.”
