BMS Re US appoints Paul as Executive Vice President
BMS Re US (“BMS”), the independent specialist insurance and reinsurance broker, today announces the appointment of Paul Knutson as Executive Vice President based in the company’s Minneapolis office. Once his current contractual obligations are complete, Knutson will join the BMS Re US Origination team and will focus on producing new business targeting regional multi-line and coastal property catastrophe reinsurance clients. He will report directly to BMS Re US CEO Andrew Bustillo.
Knutson brings more than 20 years’ broking experience to BMS Re US, joining from Willis Re, where he served as geographic leader of Willis Re’s upper Midwest Personal & Small Commercial business. Prior to that, he was a Partner at TigerRisk Partners, having joined TigerRisk from Guy Carpenter, where he was Managing Director for more than 10 years.
