Asta strengthens actuarial capabilities with appointment of Laura McMaster
Asta, the leading third party managing agent at Lloyd’s, today announces the appointment of Laura McMaster as deputy chief actuary. She takes up her role on 16th April and will report to Richard Barke, chief actuary.
McMaster brings a decade and a half of actuarial experience to Asta. She joins from Lane Clark and Peacock where she has served as a partner for eight years, having joined the firm in 2003. In this role, she was responsible for managing reserving, capital, pricing, reinsurance, and risk projects across a range of markets, including extensive experience in the Lloyd’s and London market.
